Wasn't sure what to order and the lady introduced and recommended the dishes and types of caviar. They were very warm and welcoming and spoke good English. The restaurant is simple yet its has its charm where it left me feeling like I was eating by the sea. The handcraft spoon for caviar makes everything feels even more exquisite
I had an excellent meal at Astara. I highly recommend the restaurant 👍🏻
They definitely live up to their mission of bringing the best from the ocean to the table at a fair price & great service. The serveur and chef are so friendly, spoke perfect English and makes an effort to ensure you are properly served.
Highly recommend to start your meal with sharing platter… love that they make their blinis fresh and served warm, the tarama was to die for and everything on the platter was so fresh. For the main, the risotto was definitely a winning dish. Loved the lemon tagliatelle that hits you with a slight tartness that cuts the cream. Surf & Turf tartare is so delicate unlike regular cured meats.
Will be my go to place next time I’m craving seafood!
Loved the interior and the simple yet delicious menu!
The service was very professional and attentive.
Would go back again
My first meal after landed in Paris. The restaurant is located just behind Jardin du Palais Royal. We went there during lunch time. The Atmosphere was quite relaxing and cosy. We ordered one fish dish , one risotto and caviar platter. Everything was fresh and delicious with great service.
Came here on New Years Eve with no reservations and they were very accommodating and let us join their New Year Special course. It was a well thought out 5 course meal that started with caviar and ended with a flambéed marshmallow covered …
Terrific food. Change of plans that night and happened across this place and thankfully they were nice to fit us in without a reservation. I’m sure the menu changes from time to time but we had the crab croquette appetizer followed by sea …
I’ve had a good moment in this restaurant. It’s a restaurant that you can taste many kinds of caviars. The waitress/waiters are enthusiastic and willing to present a little caviar.
